Scheduled for Thursday 29 July from Lake Kyle 600 km with a liberation time of 07.00.

The latest weather report predicts that the conditions will only change if there are significant temperature increases. There is currently a cold front which is affecting central South Africa moving through central Zimbabwe. Temperatures are expected to be maximum of between 20 to 24 degrees Celcius.

The wind forecast at 750 meters above ground is as follows;

• From 7am liberation to 8am from 6 to 8 km/h headwind
• From 8am to 9am from 4 to 6 km/h headwind
• From 9am to 10am the wind is expected to be variable up to 4km/h
• From 10am to 2pm the wind will be side/ tail wind from 6 to 10km/h

No unpaid pigeons will participate in the race. Reserve pigeons which are not sold will show on the basketing list but will be hidden from the result if not activated up to 4 hours after liberation.

Tracker pigeons will be sent to the liberation but will not be shown on the result and are not in the basketing list. Their tracks will be available after they return and the information is downloaded. The links will not be available in the normal format on the result but will be posted separately.
