Last Training Flight 2025-07-20

    Please note: Basketing for the Final Race will take place from 07:00 am on Wednesday 23rd July instead of 14:00. Pigeons will depart early afternoon to give enough time to negotiate the road and many detours as well as enough time for stopping to feed and water enroute. The plan is to arrive to the liberation point on Thursday afternoon to feed and water and let the birds rest overnight for Friday’s liberation.

     

    The racing to Victoria Falls has proven difficult every year with heavy losses and we look forward to the change of route for next year as well as a successful Final Race this week.
