RACE REPORT HOTSPOT 3
Hotspot 3 was held from Fatima on Saturday 28th of June 2025, 192 km from the loft. There was a South wind along the way, temperatures ranging from 11 degrees Celsius to a maximum daytime temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. The first 4 pigeons arrived 8 minutes ahead of the next birds. The winning bird’s velocity was 1696 m/min.
1993 pigeons were sent to the race and they returned as follows,
- 14 birds in the first 15 minutes (1%)
- 1738 birds within 1 hour (87%)
- 1873 on the first day (94%)
1886 birds returned in race time. 5% were still out when the clock was stopped.
