2026 is our 10^th Anniversary and we are changing the race route by moving the loft close to Bulawayo with the same team and systems developed over the past 9 years.

This is for the WELFARE OF THE PIGEONS AND TO REDUCE LOSSES AND IMPROVE YOUR RACING ENJOYMENT AND SATISFACTION.

The new race route is a tried and tested route over many years by the Bulawayo Club with good returns flying over farmland, good water availability, cooler weather, better roads and slower average velocities.

This change will enable us to have further distances in training and racing and a final of approximately 600 km. The race route is shown on the attached map.

The loft will be near the iconic World Heritage Site of Matobo Hills which boasts luxury accommodation and unique activities which fanciers can access through Bulawayo’s International Airport. Victoria Falls can still be visited before or after the race.

The loft will have an initial capacity of 4000 birds by the end of August 2025 and will be expanded to 7000 pigeons.
