Buying Donor Birds

Donor birds have a “BOOK NOW” button next to them on any basketing list or flight result.

Donor birds are $800 per bird.

How it works

You have to be logged into your Fancier race account in order to book birds. If you do not have a race account with us kindly let us know and we will create one for you.

1. To book a pigeon click the “BOOK NOW” button next to the pigeon either on a flight result or on the drop down option in your account (My Account, Buy Pigeons). Confirm the booking by clicking “I Agree”. If the pigeon has not been booked already you will successfully book the pigeon. The booking will be in a state of PENDING. You can only have a maximum of 5 pigeons in a PENDING status at any one time.

2. You will have 30 minutes to pay for a pigeon once booked. Should you fail to make payment before this time the booking will EXPIRE and the pigeon will become available for booking again, you will have to wait a further 15 minutes before you can book the same pigeon again.

3. Click “Pay Now” either when you book the bird or on the “Booked Pigeons” page. Confirm the payment by clicking “I Agree”. If you have funds in your Entry Credits Current account this will be utilized first and the balance if any will be deducted from your Main account.

4. If you do not have enough funds in your accounts the payment will say “Failed” and you will need to click “Topup Account” to add money by credit card or send us a proof of payment by wire transfer to credit your account for you. Then go back to “Booked Pigeons” to try pay again.

5. Activation costs US$ 800 of which US$ 50 will be paid over to the Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust.

6. Please note on successful payment the booking status will change to BOUGHT. The pigeon will be held for you and will not be for sale anymore.

7. Once we have moved the pigeon into your racing name the booking will then have a status of COMPLETE.

8. You can check the status of your bookings under My Account, Buy Pigeons, Booked Pigeons.

Make sure you have enough funds in your Main and Entry Credits Current accounts in advance.
