The basketing for the Victoria Falls Final Race is complete with 735 pigeons basketed - https://www.victoriafallswcpr.com/results.php?opt=5&id=712

The pigeons are in excellent condition and ready for the race on Friday. The final leg of Super Ace, Knock Out, Team and Grand Average competitions as well as the results of the Final will be decided on Friday.

The current weather forecast is showing that from liberation there is a north (head) wind of 5 km/hr. It gets progressively stronger through the journey up to approximately 16 km/hr. The forecast temperature at liberation is 8 degrees Celsius reaching a maximum during the day of 30 degrees Celsius. At this stage we predict an 8 to 9 hour flight for the winning pigeon.
