Buying unpaid Reserves

All remaining unpaid Reserves at 15:00 hrs CAT tomorrow (Sunday 23rd) will have a “BOOK NOW” button next to them on any flight result and a loft list we issue.

How it works

You have to be logged into your Fancier race account in order to book birds.

1. To book a pigeon click the “BOOK NOW” button next to the pigeon either on a flight result or on the drop down option in your account (My Account, Buy Pigeons). Confirm the booking by clicking “I Agree”. If the pigeon has not been booked already you will successfully book the pigeon. The booking will be in a state of PENDING. You can only have a maximum of 5 pigeons in a PENDING status at any one time.

2. You will have 30 minutes to pay for a pigeon once booked. Should you fail to make payment before this time the booking will EXPIRE and the pigeon will become available for booking again, you will have to wait a further 15 minutes before you can book the same pigeon again.

3. Click “Pay Now” either when you book the bird or on the “Booked Pigeons” page. Confirm the payment by clicking “I Agree”. If you have funds in your Current Free Entries account this will be utilized first and the balance if any will be deducted from your Main account (Next Year free entries and or Bonus Race funds need to be moved by us to one of these accounts in order to be used).

4. If you do not have enough funds in your Current Free Entries and Main accounts the payment will say “Failed” and you will need to click “Topup Account” to add money by credit card or send us a proof of payment by wire transfer to credit your account for you. Then go back to “Booked Pigeons” to try pay again.

5. Activation costs USD 1 000.

6. Please note on successful payment the booking status will change to BOUGHT. The pigeon will be held for you and will not be for sale anymore.

7. Once we have moved the pigeon into your racing name the booking will then have a status of COMPLETE.

8. You can check the status of your bookings under My Account, Buy Pigeons, Booked Pigeons.

Make sure you have enough funds in your Main and Current Free Entries accounts in advance.

Note: if you want to activate one of your own birds which is still in your racing name once the BOOK NOW button is shown then you need to do this through your own Pigeon page (click My Account, Pigeons, Options, Activate). The system will not allow you to activate the bird if someone else has already booked it.
