RACE REPORT ENDURO
The optional extra longer distance race was held from a point close to Mutare in the East of Zimbabwe on Monday 9th August from 725 km. The weather was clear with good visibility and variable wins. The first half of the race had a headwind up to 10km per hour, middle part had a slight assisting wind and the last leg was again a headwind which was not strong. The maximum temperature was about 31 degrees Celsius.
779 pigeons were sent to the race. The first pigeon clocked after 10 hrs 40 min and the second 47 minutes later. There were 2 pigeons on the day with the third arriving 2 minutes after sunrise on day 2.
There were 249 birds by the end of day 2 and 317 by the end of day 3. 41% of the birds had returned by this stage.
We intend to make the Enduro an annual event provided we have enough pigeons to stage this and it will remain an optional extra event for interested fanciers.

We expect the PIPA sale to start on 13th September.
USA sale will start after Pipa sale ends so about 27th September.
The Kuwait auctions are expected to start on about 10th September. Please note that birds sold in Kuwait cannot be exported after purchase.
