We regret to advise that due to an increase in Covid 19 cases additional preventative measures have been announced in Zimbabwe. This will affect those planning to come to our race.

As things stand at present tourists are permitted to travel to Zimbabwe, except from India, provided they have a negative covid 19 PCR test not older than 48 hours prior to departure. Tourists are not required to quarantine in a hotel but cannot gather in groups. All restaurants are closed except those serving resident guests. The restrictions prevent gatherings of groups of people like what is planned for our race week of events.

This is a temporary measure which will be reviewed at the end of June and may or may not be extended or removed.

Because of the uncertainty and to limit the inconvenience and costs to our clients we have cancelled all formal events. Instead, we will hold a virtual event as we did last year.

This does not affect the race programme but rather the week of planned activities.

We at Victoria Falls sincerely apologise for the situation which is completely out of our control. We look forward to your continued support and hope that we can host you at the 2022 final.
