Birds available to be activated by anyone else

The deadline of 10 April to pay for the first bird in each team has passed and therefore UNPAID birds are available for others to activate.

Procedure:

Send an email to us with the ring number of the Donor bird or the team you are interested in. First booked, first served as per the terms.
We will confirm that we have booked the birds for you and the amount to pay.
You then have 24 hours to pay for them (credit card online or bank transfer and proof sent to us).
We then move them into your name and activate them. Rights to prize money and a portion of the net sale proceeds passed to the Activator of the bird.

There are currently 2 options for anyone who would like to buy birds;

Option 1 – Donor birds For Sale

All birds which are in “For Sale” fanciers are available (Type “For Sale” in the search box in the latest loft list). If they have the word “Donor” in their name they are $1050. The breeder is also mentioned.

They are automatically entered into the Super Ace Competition and the extra $50 goes to the Wildlife Trust we support. They do not have any reserves but if the bird is lost before Hotspot 3, you may select a replacement from “For Sale” pigeons available. If there are no for sale pigeons available or the bird is lost after Hotspot 3 then the entrant will be given a credit as per section 1.3 of the General Terms and Conditions.

Option 2 – UNPAID birds

These are birds where the original fancier has not paid the initial entry fee for the team. These birds are marked with a status of UNPAID on the current loft list (excluding Trackers). Buyers have the option to take over the whole team which that bird is in and pay the required $750 for the first bird. The team will be transferred to the purchaser and the original entrant will lose all rights to these birds. Please remember the bird order in a team can be changed before the first hotspot.
